The toll in detail
Driving from Bari to Napoli follows the A16 and A14 motorways for around 283 km, linking the Puglia and Campania regions. It is the most direct route by car between the two cities.
For a Class A vehicle, meaning a standard car, the toll paid at the booth is €21.6, VAT included. This is the amount actually charged in the lane, cross-checked against the motorway operators' own calculators, rather than an estimate worked out from the distance.
At the booth you can pay with cash or card in the dedicated lanes, or pass through without stopping in the Telepass lanes. Heavier or larger vehicles fall into higher toll classes and pay proportionally more than a car.
